Badarina is a small vineyard in the prestigious subzone of Serralunga d'Alba. The land is made up of limestone soil and has a perfect southern exposure. After initial fermentation in stainless steel, the wine matures in small barriques for at least two years. It then ages 6-9 months in the bottle before putting it on the market. The Barolo Badarina has a floral nose with notes of violet. Dry with depth, it is robust as well as harmonious. Serve at 64 degrees with lasagna or osso buco.
